In order to understand how we got here today, we should probably tell the story as to how this adventure began....
I was living in Utah at the time when I got a call from a long time friend of mine to come down to catch up and meet a friend of his. So reluctantly I travelled down to good ole Henderson for the weekend. By the time I got into town they were all at Cinedome 12 watching Star Trek, so i sat in the back behind everyone else, wondering why I had wasted my weekend by coming down to my home roots. The movie ended and we met up outside the theater to chat for a while. This friend I was being set up with was... well, not what I had expected so I was ready to just head back north. Then I heard this majestic voice come up to me and say, "Hi! I don't think we've met yet, I'm B.J.". It was all over for me from there. I thought to myself, WOW this guy is a babe! So as the weekend carried on we got mix ups and confusion. this lasted for about two weeks actually then I got the gumption to head back down to H-town. We bowled together one night, he secretly watched me as i secretly adored him. The next night we went to dinner with a bunch of friends him with a date and me being set up with another who i thought was his girlfriend at the time but lucky for me it wasn't! Then later that night we sat on the same couch while watching the Quantom of Solace with a friend sitting between us, He made me laugh so much I just knew he would be a fun one! The next day was Sunday, sacament meeting was the longest ever I sat behind him so wanting to go sit next to him since he was all by himself! When Sunday school came along B.J. taught the most amazing lesson. and even cried at the end, definitely a tender moment that made me fall a little bit in love for him right then and there! My favorite part of church that day was definitely our combined Priesthood and Relief Society. we sat right next to each other. I couldn't tell you what our lesson was on that day, all I could focus on was how B.J. and I were gradually getting closer and closer. I so wanted to put my arms around him and cuddle through the rest of the lesson! So as soon as church ended we began talking about how I live in Utah and he visits there often so we should meet up, and naturally we exchanged numbers. From that point on the texting and talking via phone never ended....
B.J.'s ward came up to Zion Ponderosa for a ward activity. That Friday I went there to meet up with him. I had fall head over heels for this kid, and I couldn't wait another second I had to see him ASAP! AS soon as I got there He drove up to meet me and take me to the cabins. Parking was scarce so he jumped in my car to park up a ways from where they were staying. I was so nervous I knew something amazing was about to happen....
