The Kiss

We parked the car, he got out and opened my door. As soon as I began to step out of my cruiser my legs felt as though they were jello... I had never been so nervous in my whole life! He pulled me close and in one natural, swift move he kissed me! It was so unexpected but so longed for, I couldn't help but think that it was the perfect setting.... the brilliant knight saves a damsel in distress, whisks her off her feet, then pulls her in for love's first kiss, and they live happily ever after! Now, not too long after we shared that tender moment we went for a walk (after officially meeting the parents). It was a beautiful starry night, everything seemed to be perfect. We were holding hands, laughing, kissing, and just enjoying finally being able to be with one another when B.J. asked me to be his girlfriend. At that moment I knew I was in for a grand adventure...
